These are very inspirational documentaries about this land, its water and the sky. They present the views of a number of New Zealanders passionate about our place and protecting for future generations.
I particularly enjoyed listening to the korero of the diverse individuals talking about their motivations and dreams for the work they do. In my view it these movies are testiment to the humility and commitment of some special Kiwi’s that we could all learn something from.

Kia ora Ripora – Yes I will be at Rongoa 2. I have copies of both Earth & Water and am currently awaiting copies of the Sky one due to be released next month. I will bring them to the workshop.

I’ve just finished watching Earth Whisperers – Papatuanuku and WOW what a journey! Since doing the workships with Pa I am getting an even more understanding and better perspective on our environment. The first lady Rita Tupe – I’ve only just found out recently through mum’s older sister is a very close relative – their dad’s are brothers. Yes, Koro Tapu (mum’s dad) was a tohunga as well as mum’s grandfather. Very interesting. See you at the next workshop. Oh, I can’t wait for the Sky people dvd to come out!
